Refund & Cancellation Policy
1) The carrier and driver are authorized, both jointly and separately, to operate and transport the motor vehicle between the designated pick-up location and the specified destination stated in the auto transport order contract.
2) Carrier provides coverage for trucking damage claims with cargo insurance ranging from $100,000 to $250,000 per load, along with a minimum public liability and property damage coverage of 3/4 of a million dollars. All claims must be acknowledged and signed for upon delivery, and written claims must be submitted within 15 days of the delivery.
3) Personal belongings and luggage must be securely placed in the trunk, avoiding heavy items, and should not exceed a total weight of 100 lbs. The carrier cannot be held responsible for any damage resulting from excessive or improper loading of personal items onto the vehicle.
4) Prior to tendering the vehicle to the carrier, it must be in good running condition and have no more than a half tank of fuel. Carrier will not be liable for any damage caused by leaking fluids, freezing, exhaust system issues, or untied antennas. Any claims for loss or damage must be recorded and signed on the condition report at the time of delivery.
5) In the event that the vehicle is not ready for pick-up as indicated by the shipper, an additional rescheduling fee of $75.00 will be charged. If the shipper is unavailable for pick-up or delivery, an alternate representative must be designated. If the vehicle becomes unavailable during a scheduled pick-up window after the order has been placed, SpeedoCarShip reserves the right to cancel the order without a refund.
6) While SpeedoCarShip agrees to arrange for the prompt transportation of the vehicle according to the provided instructions, it cannot guarantee pick-up or delivery on a specific date. Orders canceled prior to one week after the requested available pick-up date will incur an administration fee of $200. SpeedoCarShip is not responsible for rental costs of a replacement vehicle, nor liable for any mechanical or operational failures of the transported vehicle.
7) A non-operational fee of $150.00 will be added to the final quote for all non-running vehicles. This fee is included in the original quote and will apply if the vehicle becomes non-operational during the transport process.
8) The shipper agrees to pay the quoted price to SpeedoCarShip for the delivered vehicles and will not attempt to charge back the payment via credit card. This agreement is subject to all terms and conditions outlined in the carrier’s tariff and the uniform straight bill of lading, available at the carrier’s office. This agreement supersedes any prior written or verbal representations made by SpeedoCarShip and constitutes the entire agreement between the shipper and SpeedoCarShip. Any modifications to this agreement must be made in writing and signed by an officer of SpeedoCarShip. SpeedoCarShip retains the right to cancel the order at any time.
9) The client agrees not to engage the services of any other broker or carrier during the designated shipping period. If the client is found to be working with another broker or carrier during this time, a non-refundable deposit fee may apply.
